Learn more about our customer's operations: https://www.saab.com/products/land/camouflage-systems Your Tasks As a sewing operator, you will work in production where you and your colleagues manufacture customized products for increased survivability in the form of mobile, static, and personal camouflage. Your main tasks will involve sewing these products, with the sewing machine being your primary work tool. You will also work with other production-related tasks and perform simple quality inspections. The shift patterns are 2-shift. Your Background/Your Qualities For this position, it is an advantage if you have previous experience in the manufacturing industry. It will be meritorious if you possess knowledge in areas such as sewing and blueprint reading. Sewing experience we are looking for can come from previous work and/or practical knowledge related to sewing different types of garments or products with accuracy and skill. Extensive sewing experience can also mean being able to solve common problems that may arise during the sewing process and being able to adapt to different challenges to produce high-quality end products. Experience in work management is meritorious. In this role, it is important that you have the ability to communicate effectively in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. This is a quality of utmost importance for successfully performing the tasks. We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and a Class B driver's license. It is meritorious and desirable if you have also completed forklift and overhead crane training. We place great importance on your personal qualities for this position and see that you as a person have the ability to take initiative, are responsible, and quality-conscious. You are a quick learner and team player who understands the importance of how your own performance and attitude affect the entire group. The position requires that you are approved according to applicable security requirements in place at any given time.
