Interim Unit Manager for Individual and Family Care (IFO) Do you want to help shape the future of social services in Dorotea Municipality? About the Position: As interim unit manager for Individual and Family Care, you'll lead and work alongside a great team of social workers and treatment specialists. The operations consist of: six social workers with authority in all areas of social services three treatment specialists in outpatient care responsible for social services' interventions in the home and the Drop-in Center's activities. The strength of our small operations is that the team always helps each other and works together to do their best. The Social Services Director is your direct manager, and you're part of the Care and Support Services management team. With us, you'll have the opportunity to develop, take on significant responsibility, and drive the development of our operations. Responsibilities As unit manager, you hold operational responsibility for the unit within the Social Services Administration. Your duties include: Personnel, work environment, and budget responsibility. Leading, planning, and monitoring operations in accordance with laws, regulations, and other governing documents. Working toward established goals and developing operations with a focus on the citizen. Creating good conditions for employees' work environment and development. Collaborating with other unit managers internally and externally. As interim unit manager for individual and family care, you: are well-acquainted with social services' mission. thrive working independently, in a structured manner, and solution-oriented. are cost-conscious and use financial resources efficiently. have good knowledge of laws, regulations, agreements, and governing documents. are a clear, visible, and present leader who is comfortable making decisions. have the ability to create participation by involving employees and making use of their expertise and commitment. Qualifications Your documented formal qualifications correspond to: Social Work Degree Management/leadership experience Good knowledge of social services' activities regarding authority exercise It's a merit if you have experience in similar management assignments within Individual and Family Care. Terms of Employment Fixed-term employment for 6 months with possible extension; individual salary setting.
