Home Care Services in Bollebygd is an important part of the municipality's elderly care and works to create security, independence, and good quality of life for the municipality's residents. The operation consists of approximately 45 dedicated employees, two planners, and one service assistant. Home Care Services is organized into two geographical work groups, East and West, plus a night shift group responsible for services around the clock. Home Care Services is led by two unit managers who together are responsible for the operation's development, quality, and work environment. The organization is characterized by close collaboration, shared responsibility, and a common focus on creating the best possible conditions for both service users and employees. As a unit manager, you will have the opportunity to lead an operation with high competence, strong engagement, and close cooperation between different professional roles. You are responsible for creating good conditions for employees to carry out their tasks and drive the operation's development based on service users' needs, operational goals, and future challenges. We are in an exciting development phase where we are working to strengthen quality, work environment, and sustainable resource use. As a unit manager, you will be an important part of this work and have the opportunity to work with employees, fellow managers, and the operations manager to continue developing the future home care services in Bollebygd. 1 position(s). DUTIES Your assignment as unit manager is to plan, lead, and drive your operation from a user-centered perspective where the individual's needs are at the center. Finding good solutions for individuals and achieving high user satisfaction are clear goals. Through your leadership approach, development efforts, and resource allocation, you provide staff with the right conditions to deliver quality-assured care and services. You have responsibility for operations, finances, personnel, and work environment. To meet future demands and expectations, systematic quality work is a natural part of your leadership assignment. You also contribute to strategic work in cross-departmental assignments and development projects. As a unit manager, you are responsible for staffing and recruitment and for actively working with your personnel groups. The work involves a high degree of collaboration in various forums, which requires your ability and willingness to build good relationships and cooperation. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements • Bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits in social work, organization, leadership, or another field that the employer deems relevant. Meritorious • Experience working in care and elderly services • Experience working as a manager, preferably in elderly care or another care and service operation • Experience working with digital development To succeed in the role of unit manager, you have the ability to prioritize your work, see different solutions, and make decisions. You find it easy to prioritize and create structure in your work. Together with both your employees and fellow managers and the operations manager, you work with clear goals and follow-up as a self-evident working method. You have financial acumen and take responsibility for the operation's resources. Together with your colleagues, you drive operational common issues, and therefore we see that you have a holistic perspective on elderly care and can adapt both yourself and the operation to new challenges and needs. You are a secure leader and your leadership is characterized by open and direct communication, lack of pretense, and responsiveness. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
