Hatchery Production Employee
We are looking for someone who wants to help create the best conditions for good animal and food production. About the Company SweHatch AB is a company that produces and supplies day-old chicks in Sweden. Part of the Scandi Standard group, which includes brands such as Kronfågel in Sweden and Danpo in Denmark. The group operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Ireland. SweHatch consists of both animal production, where they develop hatching eggs, and two hatcheries where chicks are hatched. Your Responsibilities SweHatch AB produces and supplies day-old chicks to Kronfågel and is part of the Scandi Standard group. In this role, you will work in our hatchery production where your main tasks are to: * Handle eggs, hatching, and chicks, as well as movement of these * Perform and ensure that we maintain good quality through cleaning of our machines and equipment * Document and report any deviations and improvements regarding, for example, animal health, work environment, and machines so that we can improve our operations Your Background/Qualities You are a driven and responsible person who confidently takes your own initiatives. You are motivated by working independently and can adjust your work pace as needed. It is essential that you are thorough, communicative, and strive to understand the entire production process to ensure high safety. The work is performed in warm and humid facilities, so it is important that you are comfortable working in such an environment. We place great emphasis on maintaining safe and good animal care. It is a requirement that our animals are handled well, and that you do not own or handle poultry or reptiles due to infection risk. To carry out your daily work tasks under safe conditions, you need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since public transportation does not align with the work hours, a driver's license and access to a car are required. AG Nilsson Chark in Tomelilla AB was founded in 1936 and has operated under its current management since 1991. We traditionally manufacture various types of grilling sausages, smoked sausages, liver sausage, spiced ham, and other charcuterie products. Our products are manufactured, packaged, labeled, and delivered to stores primarily in southeastern Scania. As a small family-run business with 3 full-time employees and some part-time staff, we prioritize product quality over quantity. We are now looking for someone who wants to work with us at a small food industry company. As a person, you enjoy physical work, are meticulous, enjoy collaboration, and are flexible as the job sometimes requires a faster pace. Your main task will be working with packaging/price labeling, with the opportunity to also work on delivery and production. Daily work concludes with thorough cleaning of machines and work surfaces. Experience from a charcuterie or other food manufacturing/handling is a merit but not a requirement, as we can train you on-site. We have fixed working hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-15:30. Friday 06:00-12:30. During peak season, occasional shifts at inconvenient times may occur. Before a permanent position is offered, a 3-month probationary period applies.
