Today we see ourselves as the leading local news provider – with a print newspaper that reaches every household in the municipality each week and a news website with fast, daily updates. We are proud of what we do – but we don't settle. Now we want to become even better. About the role: As News Editor, you will have a central role in the newsroom. You combine leadership with being a productive writing reporter yourself. You will drive both daily operations and long-term development. You will: Work as a reporter and write articles yourself Coach, support, and develop reporters in their work Drive the development of our journalism and content Lead newsroom planning and facilitate meetings Oversee the news situation and newsroom operations We are looking for someone who: Has several years of experience working at a local newspaper Is a sharp journalist with a strong news sense Has good knowledge of municipal coverage Is skilled at finding angles and clarifying what matters to readers Is a confident and communicative leader who can develop others Enjoys collaboration and building trust We offer: A rewarding position on an engaged newsroom where you have significant influence over content and working methods – and where your journalism truly makes a difference in people's everyday lives.
