Job Description
We are seeking an engaged employee who is responsible for the school's economic administration and IT coordination. The role is broad and combines financial work with technical support for the operations.
We wish for this position to be filled no later than August 2026 when the municipality introduces a new financial system. The person hired will have the opportunity to participate in training and introductory initiatives related to the new system already in August, which makes it important to be able to take up the position during this period.
Economic Responsibilities
Responsible for budget, forecasts, financial follow-up, and analysis.
Monitors financial results, identifies deviations, and proposes corrective measures.
Handles procurement, orders, and review, coding, and approval of invoices.
Prepares financial reports, key figures, and decision-making materials.
Participates in closing of books, financial investigations, and administrative processes.
Ensures compliance with financial routines, guidelines, and internal controls.
Coordinates and develops administrative processes for efficient resource use.
Responsible for facility-related matters in collaboration with the principal and facilities management.
Supports the principal in economic, operational, and resource planning matters.
Collaborates with municipal support functions, suppliers, and external actors.
IT Responsibilities
Coordinates and administers the school's IT environment.
Provides first-line IT support to staff and students.
Handles computers, tablets, printers, and other technical equipment.
Administers user accounts, permissions, and digital systems.
Coordinates contact with IT vendors and support partners.
Supports the implementation of new digital tools and systems.
Participates in information security and data protection efforts.
Responsible for access systems, keys, access cards, and alarms.
Receives and introduces temporary staff and handles access cards and scheduling.
Supports temporary staff management in collaboration with the temporary staffing provider.
Assists facilities management as needed and covers during absences.
About You
Higher education or university degree in economics, other relevant education, or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience.
Very good knowledge of follow-up and planning processes related to budget work.
Engaging, proactive, flexible, and organized in your work.
High analytical ability.
Interest in working operatively with the entire school's operations in close collaboration with leadership, staff, and students.
Experience collaborating with internal and external contacts.
Experience with similar work tasks in municipal schools.
Experience in economic administration and budget follow-up.
Good technical understanding and experience with IT support or system administration.
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and administrative systems.
Ability to work independently and structure your work.
Good service mindset and ease in collaborating with students, staff, and external contacts.
Meritorious
Experience from schools or public sector operations.
Experience with student administration systems and financial systems.
Knowledge of GDPR and information security.
Experience with procurements and license management.
