Description
We are seeking an energetic and committed study guide teacher who is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, and who wants to work with students in grades 4-9. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and guiding our young students in their schooling and helping them achieve their goals. You will be an important person in their lives, and your contribution will help create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
As a study guide teacher, you will:
Work with students who have recently come to Sweden and need extra support in their studies.
Adapt instruction based on each student's individual needs and circumstances.
Create a safe and inspiring atmosphere where students feel seen and heard.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a comprehensive solution for the student's learning and well-being.

Responsibilities
As a study guide teacher for Ukrainian and Russian in grades 4-9, you will play a central role in our students' learning and development. Your commitment and pedagogical insight will inspire and support our students in achieving their goals. You will:
Provide individual study guidance and support in several different subjects, such as Swedish, mathematics, and English, tailored to each student's needs.
Create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students can grow and develop.
Work closely with teachers and other staff to promote language learning and cultural understanding.
Encourage and motivate students to participate actively in instruction and to express their thoughts and feelings.
Plan and implement activities that stimulate learning and creativity outside the classroom.
There are currently only a few students (currently 2 students) with Russian or Ukrainian who need study guidance. The position is part-time and amounts to 20%.
We prefer that you have the opportunity to provide study guidance on-site, but if circumstances require it, interactive study guidance via video call can be arranged.
