Dance Instructor

At Lysekil's School of Culture, we see a need to strengthen our team ahead of the fall semester 2026 and are therefore looking for someone who can take responsibility for teaching dance. After more than twenty years, our previous dance instructor is ending her employment with us, and we are therefore seeking someone who can build upon her work and be responsible for the approximately 100 students who are active in the subject. At the School of Culture, music, theater, and dance instructors work today, and teaching takes place during both school hours and leisure time. Duties You plan and conduct dance instruction for students between 10 and 18 years old. Teaching at beginner to advanced levels. As an educator, you are responsible for your students and work to maintain good relationships with the students and their guardians. Administrative tasks such as attendance reporting also occur. You are part of a team with the coordinator for the School of Culture, music and theater instructors. Qualifications We would like to see that you have experience teaching jazz and show dance. Experience teaching other dance styles is a merit, and since we are an activity that likes to develop together, we are open to testing new concepts alongside today's focus on show dance. Great weight is placed on your personal qualities. You should have high social competence, a positive view of people, be able to create structure, and provide good service.
