About the Role Professionals Nord is seeking, in cooperation with Vattenfall, an operations technician in the heating sector. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Vattenfall for 6 months. The intention is that you will then become directly employed by Vattenfall, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. This recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord and Vattenfall's preference is that all questions about the position go to [email protected]. Responsibilities As an operations technician at Vattenfall, you and your team are responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of the facility. The role includes both control room work and practical work out in the operation. You actively work on monitoring, troubleshooting and optimizing processes and are expected to take responsibility in daily operations. Examples of work tasks: Operation and monitoring of boilers, production equipment and auxiliary equipment at Vattenfall's facility Troubleshooting and process optimization Operator maintenance and facility oversight Traveling crane operation and fuel handling Shutdown and restart of facility during maintenance Work with control systems and process monitoring Collaboration with colleagues in operations, maintenance and production to ensure stable energy delivery What We're Looking For Experience from process industries, the energy sector or other technically complex operations Good process understanding and experience with operations work Good knowledge of Swedish and English Valid B-class driver's license We consider it highly meritorious if you have experience from cogeneration, district heating, energy production or previous work at a production facility. If you have ESA, Hot Work or traveling crane certification, we see that as a major plus. If you also have hot work certification, crane operator certification, or ESA certification, we view that positively.
