Uddeholms AB is Seeking Inspector - Ultrasonic/Eddy Current Testing for the Rolled Products Line

Do you want to work with quality in an advanced production environment and be an important part of the final inspection of our products? We are now looking for a team member for MB2 with a primary focus on inspection, ultrasonic (UT) and eddy current testing. About the Role In this role, you will primarily work with inspection and non-destructive testing (UT and eddy current) of our material in MB2. You are responsible for ensuring that products meet our high quality standards before delivery to the customer. The position also involves progressively developing your skills in other tasks within the field to contribute to flexibility and stability in operations. If you currently lack the required certifications, you will be offered training. This includes both theory and practice and concludes with a written exam. The practical part is conducted mainly in production under the supervision of a certified colleague. Your Responsibilities Perform quality control of rolled material, primarily Conduct ultrasonic and eddy current testing Assess and make decisions regarding material approval Document and report deviations Contribute to improvement work in quality and work methods Progressively broaden your competence in other work tasks in the operation We Are Looking for You Technical/natural sciences/industrial high school education or alternatively work experience from industry A strong focus on accuracy and quality Flexible and willing to learn new tasks Ability to make independent decisions in daily work Enjoy collaborating and communicating with other departments Meritorious are experience with non-destructive testing (UT/eddy current) and experience in a leadership role.
