The school has approximately 130 students from preschool through grade 6, and around 22 dedicated people on the staff team. We also have a wonderful after-school program with educators who work to give students the best conditions throughout the school day. We maintain close collaboration with Fagerhults school, where the schools share personnel and professional development, among other things. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role, you will work to support students in need of special assistance, from a holistic perspective on both learning and social development. In your role, you will collaborate with teachers during the school day as well as with educators in the after-school program. The following areas are part of the assignment: -Build positive relationships with students-work in an inclusive, supportive, and preventive manner -Support, stimulate, and motivate students -Serve as a resource in the classroom -Provide additional adult support during breaks and transitions -Work based on an action plan, follow-up, and evaluation -Promote socialization and positive interaction with others -Provide practical and physical support in everyday situations, for example assistance with mobility and positioning QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is solution-focused and has an inclusive approach. Your social competence is an extremely important ability and means you have strong communication and collaboration skills with both students and adults. You are creative and have the ability to inspire and encourage students to participate, and you believe that all students can develop and learn. Furthermore, you are flexible, open, calm, and secure in different situations. Your ability to build positive relationships with others is a crucial skill. You are a trustworthy person who is passionate about creating a safe school. You also have a holistic perspective on student development and great understanding of human differences. As a person, you are interested in student learning and responsive to each student's interests, individual circumstances, and needs. Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
