Toolmaker / Carpenter for Casting Mold Manufacturing PYROTEK SCANDINAVIA AB is a subsidiary of Pyrotek Inc with headquarters in the USA. We manufacture and market consumables, refractory cast products, and mechanical equipment primarily for the aluminum industry in Scandinavia.
The facility in Ed has over 40 employees and is located in Hökedalen outside Ed in Dalsland. We are now seeking a toolmaker for manufacturing and processing both new and existing casting molds for our production. For additional information about the company, see www.pyrotek.com/
Responsibilities and Your Qualifications.
Your main tasks will be to maintain/modify and manufacture new casting molds for our production. The casting molds are primarily made of PVC, metal, expanded polystyrene, and 3D-printed parts. As a toolmaker, you will need to be able to read and interpret drawings and be creative and meticulous.
Education and Experience
Mechanical technician / precision carpenter are examples of suitable backgrounds.
Knowledge of technical drawing and Swedish is required.
Experience from toolmaking / piece manufacturing in industry is desirable.
Forklift certification and training in safe lifting is desirable.
You should be flexible and self-reliant.
