In a group home, 4-6 people live in their own apartments. These people need access to staff around the clock. The work essentially involves supporting people to live as independently as possible. This can include cooking, helping with personal hygiene, shopping with the person, etc. Service Housing There are currently three different service housing options within Vimmerby town center. Service housing is a middle ground between completely independent living in your own apartment and a group home. Each service housing has a number of apartments attached to it. Daily Activities Within daily activities, we offer meaningful engagement for people under LSS, which contributes to personal development and promotes participation in society. The activities are conducted with different approaches to suit the individual. Consideration is given based on the person's circumstances. Work hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday through Friday. Short-term/Leisure Activities Work with children and young people who have functional variations. The activities are conducted so that basic needs for supervision, rest, movement, activity, meals, and other care adapted to functional variation and age are met.
