Work hours are distributed across day, evening/night, weekends, and night shifts. Group Homes There are currently six different group homes within Vimmerby town center. In a group home, 4-6 people live in their own apartments. These people need access to staff around the clock. The work essentially involves supporting people to live as independently as possible. This can include cooking, helping with personal hygiene, shopping with the person, etc. Service Housing There are currently three different service housing options within Vimmerby town center. Service housing is a middle ground between completely independent living in your own apartment and a group home. Each service housing has a number of apartments attached to it. Working in service housing involves supporting and motivating the person in their own home based on their implementation plan. Daily Activities Within daily activities, we offer meaningful engagement for people under LSS, which contributes to personal development and promotes participation in society. The activities are conducted with different approaches to suit the individual. Consideration is given based on the person's circumstances. Work hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday through Friday. Short-term/Leisure Activities Work with children and young people who have functional variations. The activities are conducted so that basic needs for supervision, rest, movement, activity, meals, and other care adapted to functional variation and age are met. The operation is staffed around the clock, with work hours distributed across day/evening/night/weekend, and full night shifts. Personal Assistance Working as a personal assistant involves supporting and motivating the person in their home. The work essentially involves supporting people to live as independently as possible. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications We are looking for you who: • Are 18 years or older • Have education within the Healthcare Program, Leisure Activities Leader program, Child and Leisure Program, Treatment Pedagogy education, or equivalent education. • Experience from the activity area is meritorious. • Class B driver's license is desirable.
