The Labor Market and Social Support Unit is organized under the Work and Welfare Department. The department consists of the municipality's adult education, individual and family care, and the labor market and social support unit. The Labor Market and Social Support Unit has the mission to drive and coordinate labor market issues, financial assistance, and integration matters. Our common goal is to enable more municipality residents to enter work, studies, or employment. We are now seeking a coordinator specializing in health-related issues. The assignment involves working with individuals who need coordinated support where various forms of health challenges, life situations, and practical obstacles affect their ability to achieve self-sufficiency. As a coordinator, you are responsible for creating structure around the individual's planning and for coordinating contacts between different actors, such as healthcare, social services, and labor market initiatives. The work involves mapping the individual's needs and conditions, identifying obstacles, and supporting the implementation of appropriate interventions at the right time. You support the individual in understanding and managing contacts with authorities and other actors, and follow up on interventions and progress over time. The role involves functioning as a cohesive link when multiple actors are involved. The work encompasses both individual-focused support and coordination, with a focus on creating conditions for the individual to take the next step in their planning. The work is conducted in close collaboration with, for example, social workers, healthcare providers, and other internal and external partners. The assignment also includes contributing to the development of working methods by identifying recurring needs, highlighting obstacles in collaboration, and contributing to more cohesive and effective interventions. We are looking for someone with a background in behavioral science, social work, or equivalent higher education. We would appreciate experience working in social services, financial assistance, labor market activities, healthcare, or a similar field. It is a merit if you have experience with coordination between the municipality and other actors and have a good understanding of the processes governing work capacity and the path toward self-sufficiency. To succeed in this role, we see that you have a strong ability to create and maintain professional relationships. You are structured and capable of managing multiple parallel processes, work independently, and take responsibility for your tasks. You are flexible and can adapt your working methods based on the situation and needs. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
