Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist

We are now seeking a physical therapist/physiotherapist for the municipality's health and medical care team, HSL unit. We welcome your application! The Workplace The Health and Medical Care Unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and a rehabilitation assistant. We work with patients aged 18 and older who need health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in residential care facilities and ordinary housing, as well as in disability services. The Role and Responsibilities Your duties will include collaborating in a team where health and medical care personnel work together to provide quality care, support, and rehabilitation. We work with users aged 18 and older who need health and medical care at the primary care level in ordinary housing and short-term activities to enable them to remain in their own homes, as well as in residential care facilities and disability services. You will work with tasks including: Assessing the patient's physical function and rehabilitation needs, either individually or as part of a team Developing training programs to train function and ability in a given situation Assessing needs, testing, and prescribing assistive devices Performing and evaluating treatments Instructing and guiding family members, home care, and nursing staff on how they can support training Documentation Your Profile We are looking for someone who is a licensed physical therapist or physiotherapist. A valid driver's license (category B) is required to conduct home visits as part of the role. You need strong communication skills and the ability to produce written documentation in Swedish. The position requires you to work independently, make assessments, and make decisions. You are attentive and can see the individual person based on their needs.
