Senior Controller

As a Controller with a production focus, you will work close to operations and take great responsibility for profitability and financial management. About the Role As a Controller, you will have a central role in analyzing, monitoring, and developing the company's financial results. You work closely with production and contribute both operational and strategic insights. You are responsible for ensuring efficient resource utilization through profitability analyses and cost monitoring. Budgeting and ongoing forecasting are central parts of your work, as is participation in the financial closing process to ensure high quality in financial reporting. You will be an important part of one of our larger management groups and work closely with key people in the organization. The role also involves active responsibility for developing procedures and systems to continuously improve financial management and reporting. You report to the Finance Manager. Qualifications We are looking for you who have a university or college degree in finance and a good understanding of the basics of accounting and financial processes. To be successful in the role, you should have several years of experience in controlling, preferably in an operations-focused role, and be comfortable working independently and in collaboration with others to analyze, develop, and drive financial processes forward. Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel, is a requirement, while work experience from larger business systems such as SAP is a merit. We are now seeking additional Fire Safety Guards for staffing during maintenance shutdowns in weeks 39-40. The work will involve long working days and possibly nights. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, preferably with good social skills, ability to take own initiative and work independently, and take personal responsibility for getting the job done. You should enjoy working in a group but also be able to work alone. As a fire safety guard, you will monitor other professionals performing welding, cutting, and grinding work at a temporary work site where there is a fire risk. The employment is at Metsä Husum Factory Area and you will arrange your own transportation to the work site. Your application should include a CV and cover letter. Metsä Board Husum is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the Cardboard Mill Metsä Board Husum – a leading manufacturer of virgin fiber-based pulp and premium cardboard As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work in close collaboration with operations and maintenance departments to ensure operational reliability of the facility. This will be achieved through proactively maintaining/developing systems and machinery equipment as well as internal work processes. Your main responsibilities include: Leading the operational reliability work for the department through development and planning of maintenance plans and maintenance programs Establishing and developing maintenance processes, procedures, and instructions Working long-term with the facility's machinery equipment toward set production and efficiency goals Leading and initiating major repairs and maintenance projects Leading work groups in problem-solving/investigation work Serving as contact person with external suppliers Inspection work and contacts with authorities Participating in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) When needed, training maintenance and operations personnel on current systems Who are you?
