ABOUT THE JOB We are now seeking a Facilities Technician, Operations with a supervisory function within the Facilities Unit. This is an exciting new position within the Facilities Unit where you will work both in the field as a facilities technician and as a supervisor within the unit. In the field, you will work with operations (inspections and maintenance) as well as troubleshooting and maintenance of Lycksele Municipality's properties. Your supervisory function involves leading and supporting staff in daily work activities. Tasks included in your responsibilities are, for example, long-term planning of work tasks, coordination of on-call services, conducting safety inspections and inspections, leading projects, and more. Some administrative work is also part of the role. Work tasks may change over time and as needed. The Facilities Unit consists of about ten facilities maintenance staff who largely work in teams. The work environment is characterized by excellent morale and strong cohesion. You are passionate about delivering excellent service, and to thrive working in the field, you should be self-driven but also have strong collaboration skills, as you will work both independently and in teams. You should communicate well in Swedish and preferably also in English. We are primarily seeking someone with previous experience performing service and maintenance work. We are also open to you having practical training in a skilled trade. A Class B driver's license and basic computer skills are required for the position.
