Arctic Camp Jokkmokk is a successful 4-star camping facility, beautifully located by the Lilla Lule River close to nature. We are a family camping site that in 2025 won Campers Choice for best winter camping. We are now looking for you to take responsibility for our facility in the role of Facilities Manager and contribute to our continued development as an attractive year-round destination. 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES You are our primary facilities manager and are responsible for keeping the facility running smoothly on a daily basis. This means you see what needs to be done and do it. You plan and drive your work independently, while collaborating closely with reception and cleaning staff. We are a small team where everyone helps each other, and it is a given that you support other parts of the operation when needed. The work involves practical outdoor work year-round. This is a role for someone who is unpretentious and sees the big picture where guest experience always comes first. Work responsibilities • Ongoing maintenance and repairs • Oversight of buildings, service facilities and technical installations • Upkeep of the area (snow removal, grass cutting, etc.) • Seasonal preparations • Waste management and some laundry handling • Maintenance of vehicles and machinery • Contact with external contractors when needed The work is varied and practical - from urgent problem-solving to planned maintenance. During summer you work together with seasonal staff. When needed, you also support other parts of the operation, such as cleaning or simple service tasks. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility for your area. You are practical, solution-oriented and have an eye for what needs to be done. You are unpretentious and have a natural inclination to help where needed. For us it is important to be able to switch between work tasks and contribute to the whole. You don't need to know everything - but you need to have drive, willingness to learn and the ability to get things done. Requirements • Experience in facilities management or similar practical work • Category B driver's license • Good knowledge of Swedish and English • Basic computer skills Meritorious • Experience from camping, hotel or tourism industry • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing or carpentry work • Category BE driver's license • Experience in service work • Additional languages, preferably German Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Ongoing. Working hours: Working hours primarily during the day, but evenings and weekends occur. On-call duty is part of the position.
