Work Tasks In the role of operations technician, you will work with operation, supervision, and maintenance of the municipality's water and sewage facilities and pipe networks. Examples of work tasks: Operation and maintenance of water and sewage facilities and pipe networks Supervision, troubleshooting, and remedial measures for operational disruptions Ongoing improvement work to develop the operation Documentation/self-inspections and work according to procedures for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety Collaboration with the department's project managers in planned work and improvements Ensure that the operation complies with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., food legislation and the Environmental Code) On-call duty is included. You will enter on-call status once the employer deems you have sufficient experience with the work tasks. Qualifications We are looking for you who want to help develop our water and sewage operation! You don't need to know everything from the start – the most important thing is that you have the willingness to learn, are curious, and enjoy practical work. If you have experience from similar jobs, for example in construction, operation, or technology, that is a plus but not a requirement. If you have worked with machinery or technical equipment before, that is meritorious. Experience or education in water and sewage or process industry is also an extra advantage.
