Råby School in Bro is located close to nature. It is an adapted school with both primary and upper secondary education. The upper secondary program is the individual program for the adapted upper secondary school. We have approximately 82 students at the school and approximately 42 employees. We focus on early intervention, appropriate measures and support, safety work, and welcome a dialogue with you as a guardian.

As a nursing assistant with us, you work closely with students who have extensive support needs in both learning and daily life. You are an important part of the school's team and contribute to creating a safe, structured, and developmental learning environment where students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Job Description
The role includes, among other things:
Providing support in students' learning development based on individual conditions
Working with care and support in daily activities
Performing certain healthcare interventions, such as tube feeding
Handling and supporting students who use wheelchairs
Working with students who have medical needs, for example epilepsy and diabetes
Supporting students in their learning and social development, both in the classroom and during breaks
Collaborating with teachers, special educators, and guardians to promote student development
Contributing to a positive climate where students feel seen, safe, and included.
We are looking for you who:
Are a trained nursing assistant
Have experience working as a nursing assistant or similar work in school/preschool
Have knowledge or experience working with students with multiple functional variations
Have experience with or training in healthcare interventions (e.g., tube feeding, epilepsy, diabetes)
Are comfortable working with students in wheelchairs and other assistive devices
Are calm, flexible, and take responsibility
Have good collaboration skills and a professional approach
It is advantageous if you have previous experience working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities in an adapted primary school or similar setting.

About the Position
The position is a permanent full-time employment. Probation may be applied. Start date by agreement.
