Boxholm Municipality is now seeking a social worker for a combined role in child and youth services as well as foster care – a broad and developmental position where you get the opportunity to follow up with and make a difference for children, youth, and families over time.

About the Role
The position is divided between two areas where approximately 60% of the work concerns social worker duties in child and youth services and approximately 40% foster care coordinator work.
As a social worker in child and youth services, you work with authority duties directed at children and youth ages 0–21. The assignment includes:
Investigating, assessing, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act
Working closely with children, youth, and their guardians
Documenting and making decisions according to applicable legislation
Collaborating with other authorities and stakeholders around the child's needs
In the role of foster care coordinator, you work primarily with contact persons, contact families, and foster families according to the Social Services Act and the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. The assignment includes, among other things:
Recruiting, investigating, and supervising foster families
Following up on placements and foster care interventions
Training and advising foster families
Collaborating closely with other social workers on the unit

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a social work degree. It is meritable if you have experience with authority duties in child and youth services or work with foster care.
For the position, we require that you:
Have good ability to express yourself in Swedish orally and in writing
Have a B-category driver's license as travel is part of the position
Are comfortable meeting people and in your professional role
We believe that you are a person who:
Has good collaboration skills while being able to work independently
Is flexible and easily adaptable to changed circumstances
Is responsible, structured, and solution-focused
Wants to contribute to a good work environment and the development of the operation
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
