Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care together with the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Youth Psychiatry. Primary care is organized into 4 close care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under close care. Each close care area is an economic unit led by a unit manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice service, youth clinic, and the close care unit Näva, which are all grant-financed. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As unit manager for the health center in Backe, you are ultimately responsible for operational, personnel, and financial matters and will continuously work with colleagues in the area and in the management group for Close Care North. QUALIFICATIONS Formal requirement is a university degree in healthcare or equivalent education. We prefer that you have previously worked as a manager/leader and have experience working in healthcare. Director of Fyrens HVB in Backe

Do you want to lead an operation where you have the opportunity to make a real difference for young people? Fyrens HVB is a residential care home for boys ages 13–17. The facility serves young people with social challenges, risk behaviors, and a need for a safe, structured, and developmental environment. Our work is built on creating secure relationships and a stable daily routine for the young people. The operation is characterized by a pedagogical and milieu therapeutic approach where we work with structure, clarity, and individualized interventions. We use motivating and relationship-building methods and work with tools and techniques aimed at strengthening young people's ability for self-control, responsibility, and positive behavioral change. Treatment interventions are planned based on each young person's individual needs and circumstances. We are now seeking a director who wants to lead and develop the operation together with engaged staff members. About the Role As director, you have overall responsibility for the operation's quality, development, and daily management. You lead the operation together with the facility manager and other staff members and ensure that the young people receive safe, professional, and individualized care and treatment. Your responsibilities include: Operation, personnel, and quality responsibility Ensuring the operation is conducted in accordance with applicable legislation and permit conditions Supporting and developing staff and work methods Collaboration with social services, authorities, and other partners Responsibility for placement inquiries, admissions, and discharges Monitoring, documentation, and quality assurance work. Qualifications We are seeking someone with education and experience that meets IVO's requirements for directors of residential care homes. You have: A university degree of at least 180 credits in areas such as social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science Experience working with children and young people in residential care, social services, or similar operations Good knowledge of relevant legislation, documentation, and quality assurance within social work. It is advantageous if you have: Previous experience as a director, unit manager, or other leadership position Experience with residential care operations for children and young people Experience with quality and development work Training and experience with treatment and change methods such as MI (Motivational Interviewing), RePulse, ART, or similar structured approaches Experience implementing and developing methodological work in social work operations. Personal Qualities We are seeking someone who is confident, organized, and responsible. You have good judgment, build trust in your relationships, and have the ability to combine operations-focused leadership with a focus on quality and development.
