Facilities Operations Technician

Employer: Alfta-Edsbyns Fastighets AB (Aefab) Location: Primarily at Alfta Industricenter (Aicab) Alfta-Edsbyns Fastighets AB (Aefab) is a fully municipally-owned property management company owned by Ovanåkers Municipality. We manage approximately 1,600 apartments as well as a large number of commercial spaces and municipal properties. We work broadly in property management, including operations, building technology, electrical systems, maintenance, communication, and marketing. We are now seeking an experienced Operations Technician who will primarily work at Aicab, a municipally-owned company managed by Aefab. Aicab comprises approximately 35,000 m², consisting of workshop spaces, offices, conference rooms, restaurant, gym, etc. Your Responsibilities As an operations technician with us, you will have a broad and varied role with significant independent responsibility. You will, among other things: Conduct rounds and status checks. Monitor, troubleshoot, and address control systems and other technical installations. Handle trouble reports according to applicable agreements. Order materials and services, follow up on execution, and process cost invoicing. Work with ventilation systems, regulatory requirements, and filter management. Update service applications, IP lists, and documentation. You will plan and support recurring inspections, including: general ventilation inspections, doors and traverses, gates, kitchen equipment, refrigeration units and pressure vessels, etc. You maintain good relationships with contractors, tenants, and clients. You collaborate with project managers and clients on projects and various improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities will include administration and property maintenance in the area. Qualifications Requirements Experience in property operations or technical work. Good technical understanding and troubleshooting ability. Class B driver's license. Good computer skills. Meritorious Experience with ventilation control systems (primarily Schneider). Experience in an industrial environment. Electrical certification. Experience programming access control and locking systems (e.g., ILOQ). Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is: Service-oriented and communicative.
