JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will work as a teacher in the after-school program combined with teaching duties during school hours in grades F-3, which will be planned based on the needs of the activities in combination with your skills and experience. Here we will teach approximately 20 students in grades 1–9 within subject-based adapted primary education. Our team consists of special education teachers, student assistants, and leisure-time pedagogues - all with a common goal: to create an accessible, individualized, and inspiring learning environment where each student has the opportunity to grow according to their abilities. The Role Hermods Komvux Learning Center is seeking a certified teacher in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Natural Science at upper secondary level for our distance education program to conduct laboratory sessions in-person in Skurup with our adult students studying remotely in southeastern Scania. You will be responsible for laboratory work primarily in Physics and Chemistry, and potentially in Biology and Natural Science with students taking distance courses in the above subjects. As part of the course/subject, students will come to the school in Skurup 1 to 2 times to conduct laboratory work. You are responsible for planning and conducting the laboratory sessions and will collaborate with grading distance teachers to ensure that students have the best conditions to succeed in their education. The work takes place on-site in Skurup, primarily during daytime a couple of times each month. You will report directly to the Education Director/Rector. About the Role As an association coordinator, you have an operational assignment out in the field. You are responsible for the entire process around starting up school-IF: from the first contact with school and students, to getting the associations up and running, driven by young people and with structure to function over time, where you lead this work together with the young people. You are the adult who holds the process together, creates safety and direction, but ensures that it is young people who own and run the activities. In the role you will: Be out at schools and other arenas where young people are and work closely with students, young leaders, school staff, or youth services. Start up new school-IF from scratch together with young people and cooperating schools. Support young people in taking on roles as leaders and board members and guide them in democratic processes and association knowledge.
