SiS Youth Care Facility Fagared serves non-school-age boys with psychosocial problems, involvement in crime, and substance abuse issues. We have units in Lindome, Öxnevalla, and Gothenburg. Job Description Take the opportunity to try an interesting position as a temporary treatment assistant at SiS Youth Care Facility Fagared! The goal of the temporary treatment assistant position at Fagared is to motivate our young people toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you help ensure that the unit's routines function as intended. You play a significant role in providing stability and security for our young people and form the foundation of daily life activities such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. You contribute to maintaining security at the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building positive treatment relationships and help ensure our young people receive the security and safety they need to break established patterns of behavior. Together with your team of committed colleagues, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. Working hours follow a schedule of day shifts, evenings, weekends, or nights, on weekdays and weekends. As a temporary employee at SiS, you will undergo customized introductory training to prepare you for your assignment. Qualifications Your personal suitability is key to vital change. Therefore, you need strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of humanity, great empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have strong communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. You must also have: - Completed upper secondary education - At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, sociopedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field.* - Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, for example within psychiatry, HVB services, or care and support. - Category B driver's license - Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written *Exceptions to the requirement of at least two years of post-secondary education can be made in individual cases if there are special grounds according to Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468).
