Production Technician

Responsibilities Your main areas of responsibility are: Optimize machining processes, tool selection, and methods within turning and milling Analyze technical problems and improvement opportunities, and develop and implement action plans Drive process improvements and rationalization efforts in line with business goals Actively participate in production meetings and daily management Work operationally in production and serve as technical support Qualifications We're looking for someone who has/is: Post-secondary technical education in, for example, production technology, CNC, mechanical engineering, or automation Experience with production technical work within cutting machining (turning & milling) Good experience with CAM preparation (GibbsCAM is a merit) Meritorious with experience in automation and/or robotic solutions Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written Good IT skills, including Office and business systems Driver's license (Category B) Personality To succeed in the role, we see that you: Are structured, solution-oriented, and analytical Have good collaboration and communication skills Take initiative and drive work independently all the way to the goal Have a genuine interest in technology and a clear customer focus Have the interpersonal skills to influence, engage, and inspire others About the Company Malmköpings Mekaniska Werkstad AB was founded in 2010 when the current owner took over Elmo, a company with roots dating back to 1946.
