Your Role
As a case officer specializing in the Social Services Act and LSS, you will become an important part of an engaged team of four colleagues. We value collaboration, development, and a good working environment and believe in succeeding together.
We are in an exciting development phase where we are building the future social services in Degerfors. Together, we develop working methods that strengthen the preventive perspective, increase accessibility, and create smooth transitions between government authority and service provider activities.
We work closely together and in teams around the individual, always with a focus on security, participation, independence, and good quality.
Your assignment includes:
• investigating, assessing, and making decisions according to the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities (LSS)
• ensuring legally sound case processing and following up on granted measures
• collaborating with the individual, relatives, service providers, health and medical care, and other partners
• contributing to the development of future social services and new working methods in Degerfors Municipality
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who
is a social worker or has other education that the employer considers equivalent
is solution-focused, communicative, and curious
enjoyed working where collaboration, dialogue, and a holistic perspective are central
wants to help develop a more preventive, accessible, and close social service
has the ability to meet people with different needs and their relatives with professionalism, respect, and attentiveness
has a valid driver's license (B category)
We welcome both those with experience in government authority work and those new to the profession.
It is meritorious if you have experience in case processing according to the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Disabilities (LSS) and/or the Social Services Act (SoL).
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, Start date: 2026-09-01 By agreement, End date: 2026-12-31.
Working hours: Daytime.
