Many who work in these industries have received their education at SG/Södra Viken. The school was founded in 1947 and is now operated by Sunne Municipality as the principal authority. The school has two upper secondary programs: the Nature Management Program with a focus on forestry and the Vehicle and Transportation Program with a focus on transport. The adapted upper secondary school also offers two programs: Forest, Land and Animals and Vehicle Maintenance and Cargo Handling. SG/Södra Viken conducts education in classrooms, forests, and on the roads. The school has modern facilities and a well-maintained fleet of equipment that enables modern education at the highest level. Job Responsibilities You will teach both practical and theoretical content in the Vehicle and Transportation Program. We are Looking for Someone Who: Has experience in heavy commercial transportation, preferably timber transport Enjoys working with young people Has good knowledge of current traffic laws and regulations Has good computer skills Works well in collaboration with both large and small work groups Is good at learning and teaching others Upholds and values the school's core values and takes great responsibility for mentoring Is positive and flexible Holds at least a CE driver's license Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Terms Start date by agreement. We use probationary employment. Before employment can commence, a valid extract from the police criminal record must be provided. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis. Interviews may also be conducted after the summer break.
