We are now seeking a Dementia Developer for Vingåkers Municipality! We have initiated development work according to the Swedish Dementia Center's training model Star Marked. Humlegården dementia departments and Home Care Minnas are Star Marked, and as a Dementia Developer you will be driving this work forward. In your role as Dementia Developer, you will have overall responsibility for developing and ensuring quality in the municipality's dementia care. You will be instrumental in planning, implementing, and following up on dementia care. Part of the work involves monitoring the external environment and implementing innovations in our operations. You will educate and mentor staff within elderly care operations and provide support, advice, and information to patients with dementia and their relatives. Part of the work will also involve coordinating efforts with Star Marked, BPSD, and SweDem. You will also be the municipality's coordinator with the region, such as contact with memory assessment teams at health centers and memory clinics. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in dementia care. You are a licensed nurse or occupational therapist with experience working in this field. It is a requirement that you have training in dementia care, and it is meritorious if you are a trainer for the BPSD registry/Star Marked. As a person you are responsible, driven, and have good collaboration skills. You contribute to a positive work environment while having the ability to bring your work team along. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. A Class B driver's license is a requirement.
