About the Position As an operations technician, you will work with process control and operational optimization as well as corrective and planned maintenance on our production facilities. This also includes troubleshooting and repairs during acute operational disruptions and failures. In addition to district heating in Vimmerby, we operate four local heating networks with associated boiler plants in towns around Vimmerby. Our production facilities use both biofuel and biogas. Our main facility is a modern biofuel-fired combined heat and power plant where we produce district heating as well as steam, hot water, and electricity that we supply to our local customers. Working hours are 7-16 and on-call duty is included every 6 weeks. About You In this position, it is very important that you have the right mindset for service and preventive maintenance. You have relevant technical education such as operations technician, operations engineer, or marine engineer. We value experience from similar operations, such as process and/or operations-related tasks. We require that you are comfortable working both in the control room and practically out in our facilities. Knowledge of computerized control and monitoring systems as well as expertise in combustion technology are valuable. You have your own drive and see what needs to be done in daily operations and willingly take initiative to develop it. Good social skills and teamwork ability are essential for us. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have good language skills in Swedish and English. You hold a category B driver's license.
