About the Role Professionals Nord is seeking, in collaboration with Vattenfall, an operations technician in heating. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Vattenfall for 6 months. The intention is that you will then become directly employed by Vattenfall, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. This recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord and Vattenfall's request is that all questions regarding the position be directed to [email protected]. Responsibilities As an operations technician at Vattenfall, you work with the team to ensure that the facility is operated safely and efficiently. You will gradually learn the entire process and work closely with the daily operation of Vattenfall's facility. The role is practical and hands-on where you combine monitoring from the control room with work in the facility, for example troubleshooting, valve adjustments, work with pumps, and simple work in control systems. You work shifts with the team to keep operations running in a business that operates around the clock. Examples of work tasks include: Operation and monitoring of Vattenfall's facility and processes Operator maintenance and inspection Troubleshooting and process optimization Participation in facility shutdowns and restarts Documentation and monitoring of operational status Working closely with experienced operations technicians and process engineers at Vattenfall What We Are Looking For You have an engineering degree in, for example, energy engineering, energy systems, chemical engineering, process engineering, or similar You have a strong technical interest and want to develop practically within process industry and the energy sector You speak and write fluent Swedish and English You have a class B driver's license It is a merit if you already have experience from process industry, combined heat and power, the energy sector, or similar technical operations. If you also have hot work certification, crane operator certification, or ESA certification, we view that positively.
