I'm now looking for personal assistants who want to work with me to create as independent, secure, and meaningful a life as possible, given my circumstances. I'm looking for someone who wants to work extra during the summer but also has the possibility to continue into the fall on a schedule. I'm a woman in my 30s living with an acquired spinal cord injury from a traffic accident. I enjoy quiet moments at home and small golden moments in everyday life—like playing games, cooking, or watching a film together. Or why not a walk? I also have ADHD, which means I sometimes need extra support with structure, planning, and creating calm and clarity in my everyday life. For me, a secure, stable, and predictable environment is important. I value close and secure relationships with my assistants and place great importance on the collaboration feeling personal, respectful, and relaxed. My days can be calm but also have a tempo when I visit various care facilities. As my assistant, you are close support in my everyday life. Your work tasks include, among other things: • personal care • help with dressing and undressing • household chores and cooking • support with activities inside and outside the home Who Are You? I'm looking for someone who is secure, considerate, attentive, and responsible, and who enjoys working close to another person. Personal chemistry and good collaboration are important to me. As an assistant, you are calm and gentle, with good patience, a cheerful disposition, and a good sense of humor. For me, personal chemistry is important—I need to feel that you care about me and genuinely want to be with me, otherwise it won't work. I feel most comfortable with female assistants, and preferably you have experience with NPF diagnoses so you can understand me more easily, but your personal qualities are absolutely most important to me. You work double shifts in the evenings. Overnight there is on-call time.
