Substitute Youth Leader 100% One of our youth leaders will be on parental leave. Therefore, we are looking for you who are trained as a youth leader or have other pedagogical education that we find equivalent. As a youth leader, you are part of a larger work team. In the pastorate, seven staff members work in educational activities. Arvika Pastorate consists of five congregations and covers Arvika Municipality. Here there is a varied congregation life with many engaged volunteers and employees. As a youth leader, you are employed by Arvika Pastorate and will be part of the Education and Diaconal Unit, with primary placement in Arvika-Ny Congregation. Cooperation between our five congregations is important, as is collaboration with other organizations working with children and youth. We want you to have experience working with children and youth of varying ages. Experience working in the Church of Sweden is a merit, as is having religious pedagogical education. In the Church of Sweden, we offer varied activities for children and youth. Therefore, we are looking for you who have great commitment to meeting children and youth. You are self-directed and driven, and not afraid to "pitch in" where needed. You are also positive, attentive, flexible, responsible, and thorough. You should be comfortable leading devotions, as devotion and worship are important in our activities. We require that you are a member and share the Church of Sweden's values. We want you to have a driver's license and access to a car. The position includes some weekend and evening work. In the selection process, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
