We're looking for you to work as: Nursing Assistant or Care Worker in home care or special housing Support Worker or Support Assistant in Support Services: LSS and social psychiatry No matter where you end up, you'll be an important part of someone's everyday life. ♥ Elderly Care – home care or senior living facilities As a care worker or nursing assistant, you help elderly people in their daily lives – in their own homes or at a senior living facility. It can be anything from personal care to simply being there, chatting for a while, creating security and a meaningful day based on each person's needs and wishes. You work either in the individual's home or at a senior living facility. In some cases, you'll also perform health and medical care tasks following delegation, as well as documentation in our patient record system. We have several different workplaces: Within home care, there are six geographic areas, a short-term unit, and a night patrol Within special housing, there are seven senior living facilities around the municipality ♥ Support Services – LSS & Social Psychiatry As a support worker or support assistant, you help our service users live as independently and meaningfully as possible. Here you support people with functional variations in their daily lives. Everyone is different, so the work is adapted to each person's needs and wishes. You collaborate with colleagues, family members, and other care providers, and document in our patient record system. In some facilities, simple health and medical care tasks may also be included. Our service users are of different ages and live in: Group homes Service apartments Private apartments The accommodations are located throughout Härnosand. » For work in Support Services, a criminal record check is required before employment. What you need to apply Good knowledge of Swedish (equivalent to SFI D) Be comfortable using digital tools, including computer and mobile in your work Valid work permit in Sweden This is important because the job involves a lot of communication, collaboration, and documentation. Extra bonus if you have: Education or experience in healthcare, care, psychiatry, or education Driver's license (sometimes a requirement, especially in home care) Knowledge of sign language – extra valuable in some facilities! You're flexible, stay calm when the pace is high, and feel comfortable working independently at times.
