Welcome to develop with us Substitute Teacher Grades 4–6 – Nakterhusskolan Nakterhusskolan in Vega is a relatively new school that opened in fall 2020. By the fall, we will have approximately 520 students from preschool through grade 6 and a dedicated team of 64 employees working together to create a school where students thrive, feel secure, and have good conditions to develop. For the 2026–2027 school year, we are now seeking a mentor for grade 4. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of an operation where relationships, responsibility, and collaboration are important parts of everyday life and where we work together to create structure, study focus, and a positive school environment for both students and adults. We have strong commitment to the school's mission, but also an understanding that truly excellent operations are built together, step by step. As a relatively new school, we are still developing parts of our operations, which also means opportunities to contribute ideas, experience, and perspectives. Nakterhusskolan is centrally located in Vega with a commuter train station within a short walk. Our facilities are modern and well-equipped with, among other things, a library, gymnasium, music room, craft rooms, and a teaching kitchen. The Assignment As a teacher in grades 4–6, you will: - plan and implement instruction with high expectations for all students - work on language development across all subjects with focus on students' language and concept development - build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians - create a secure and inclusive learning environment where all students succeed - collaborate in work teams and contribute to the school's joint development efforts We're looking for someone who - is a certified teacher for grades 4–6 with broad subject qualifications, with requirements for qualifications in mathematics and English - has a strong interest in mathematics instruction and mathematics development - has clear relational leadership in the classroom - wants to work across subjects - enjoys collaboration and wants to help develop the operation We offer - a school with strong team spirit and engaged colleagues - a secure workplace with good student results - opportunity to grow in your profession and develop your instruction Welcome to apply!
