Do you want a job outdoors where you make our roads safer and cleaner? We need to strengthen our team right away and are looking for someone who wants to work with clearing and maintenance operations along the road network in Gästrikland and Hälsingland. With us, you'll become an important part of a dedicated team that ensures infrastructure functions and that safety along the roads is maintained. What We Offer You Free work under your own responsibility: You perform much of the work independently out in the field. On-site training: No previous experience required, we'll teach you what you need to know. Your Responsibilities Your main focus is to keep the road environment safe, clear, and clean. The work area spans both Gästrikland and Hälsingland. Your tasks include: Brush and grass clearing: Mechanical clearing along road edges and at fixed obstacles (e.g., signs and barriers). Wildlife fence maintenance: Clearing work and removal of brush and branches to ensure fence function. Other road maintenance: In addition to clearing work, other relevant assignments and tasks within road maintenance may also arise. Who Are You? We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable, and enjoys hard work outdoors in all weather conditions. Since the road is a live workplace, it's important that you have a strong safety mindset. Requirements for the position: Good physical condition and ability to work at a fast pace: The work is physically demanding and places high demands on your endurance and strength. Class B driver's license and access to your own vehicle: An absolute requirement to be able to get to and from the different work areas. No previous experience required: The right attitude and work ethic are what matter most to us. Meritorious (Big Plus): Road Work (APV) training: Valid certificate for APV 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 is highly meritorious. Chainsaw and clearing saw training: Training or certification for clearing saw and chainsaw is a big plus. Employment support: If you're eligible for any form of employment support (e.g., new start jobs or introduction jobs) through the Employment Agency, that's advantageous for this position.
