Description Individual and Family Services will be losing a case manager in the fall and is therefore seeking a social worker to join us. You will work as an investigating social worker for children and young people, where the work involves conducting investigations (SoL and LVU) following applications for support or reports of concern, placing children who cannot remain at home, and following up on open care interventions. We usually work with two social workers in the investigation process to support each other. We work based on BBIC, Signs of Safety, and use a family-oriented approach that involves close collaboration within IFO. We work actively together to achieve improved living conditions and find solutions for children, youth, and their families, primarily in their home environment. The work also includes preventative work through collaboration with other societal actors, both internally and externally. Social Services operates in the Lifecare system and we are currently piloting AI transcription to reduce documentation time. What can we offer you? You will join a functioning work team with close leadership that actively works on development issues. Your work will be conducted together with a team leader, five additional social workers, and a reception secretary. Within IFO there is also a placement team consisting of a team leader, three child coordinators, and four foster care secretaries. The Child and Family Unit includes an additional team consisting of a team leader and family therapists as well as a family law group. You will receive support during the introduction from your own mentor, team leader, and manager, all to ensure the best possible start with us. You will also be part of our implementation journey regarding the Signs of Safety method. Qualifications For these positions, a completed degree in social work, a B-category driving license, and a valid extract from the police criminal record are requirements for employment. We would like you to have experience in municipal authority work and social work with children and families. You have strong investigation and documentation skills as well as the ability to independently plan and structure your work. You actively participate in the development of the operations and contribute with your knowledge and experience. Experience working according to BBIC and with the Lifecare system is a merit.
