Åseda Health Center is located in Uppvidinge Municipality and has approximately 3600 registered patients. Here patients receive care and treatment throughout their lives, with special clinics for pediatric care/family center, elderly care, hypertension, asthma/COPD, and diabetes. In our work, we have good patient interaction, good accessibility, and always work with the patient at the center. We work with the goal of 1100 registered patients per physician and aim to create good continuity and accessibility for our patients and a good work environment for our employees. However, continuity in primary care cannot rest on just one person – teamwork is therefore central to us and all professional categories in the team share joint responsibility for ensuring patients are well cared for. Here the team comes before the individual and we work to create conditions for the team at the health center to be there for the patient. DUTIES We want to create conditions so you can focus on what you do best – being a specialist in general medicine and providing excellent care for your patients. We work according to appropriate use of competence and investigate which tasks can be performed by other professional groups. This has resulted in, among other things, medical secretaries handling scheduling, patient calls, and coordinating medical processes. We also have nurse assistant clinics and nurse clinics that, among other things, are responsible for follow-up care for patients. Right now we are focusing, among other things, on developing clinical pathways for major patient groups and working to develop new methods to care for patients who need us most. We also have ongoing work to assign patients to a fixed physician contact to further improve continuity. In addition to standard work as a specialist in general medicine, you will: • Be instrumental in developing and building the health center of the future. • Have an important role in developing and integrating preventive and health-promoting interventions in healthcare. • Mentor training physicians, AT physicians, and ST physicians. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed district physician. As a person, you are unpretentious, clear in your communication, and have a good ability to structure and prioritize. You are team-oriented, solution-focused, and of course have a genuine interest in primary care. We value your ability to meet different people according to their needs.
