Both the life that has fallen silent and left unique traces, and the life that must continue in a new way for those close by. As a funeral advisor, you offer security, structure, and knowledge in a situation where the people you meet often feel loss, stress, and worry. Many have never experienced death close by and have never planned a funeral. People need support when their strength runs out and life's puzzle needs to come together, but also someone who listens when memories surface. These memories are wonderful inspiration when you plan the personal and unique farewell. Important qualities for the person we're seeking are that you are confident in yourself, attentive, empathetic, engaged, and well-organized. We place greater emphasis on who you are as a person than on your education and previous professional roles. For obvious reasons, the workload can sometimes be uneven and working hours irregular. Your day might consist of customer visits, retrieval/washing/casket placement of the deceased, contact with suppliers, administration, planning and conducting of funerals. On-call duty is also included. Therefore, you must be flexible by nature and enjoy providing excellent service in all situations. To handle all work tasks, you need to have a valid driver's license and basic computer skills. You work independently with your own responsibility but are part of a positive community. In our team we trust each other and support one another. You will receive practical training and we conduct joint visits so that both you and the customer feel secure. This is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period. Start date is by agreement and applications are processed continuously so don't hesitate to reach out.
