Welcome to us! DUTIES We are looking for someone who wants to work as a respite care provider for one of our clients. The client is a 9-year-old boy living centrally in Knivsta. His interests include learning facts, building, painting, and drawing. He enjoys reading fact books about animals and playing Minecraft. As a respite care provider, you typically work in someone's home, temporarily taking over their care responsibilities. As a respite care provider, you enable guardians to have time to relax or pursue activities on their own or with siblings. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in doing something for other people. You work based on the individual's needs and interests and adapt to different situations. You are relationship-building and collaborative. To thrive in your role, it is important that you see each person and understand how important you are in contributing to a meaningful everyday life. It is important that you are both cooperative and confident in yourself—this creates security in your role as a respite care provider. QUALIFICATIONS Personal suitability is of utmost importance. We believe that for this role you are attentive, empathetic, driven, and service-minded. You should be able to build and maintain relationships. You have empathetic abilities and can put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation. We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with other people, who is interested in how others are doing, and who has a stable and secure life situation. It is an advantage if you have some form of care and support experience or similar education.
