Gnutti Carlo Group's tool department in Södra Vi is looking for a technically skilled person. In this role, your main responsibilities will consist of service, repair, and maintenance work on casting tools and cutting tools. Some machine work may also occur. The work takes place in close collaboration with other staff in the maintenance department, as well as in production. The position is a permanent employment with an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. It is a full-time position. The position will be shift work in the form of continuous night shifts, but initially daytime. Placement is at Gnutti Carlo Group in Södra Vi, formerly Ljunghäll AB; work-related travel may occur. We are looking for you who… …have previously worked as a tool maker or tool technician, or have other workshop experience that is deemed relevant with hands-on expertise. You have likely completed a technical upper secondary education or equivalent and have practical experience with assembly/disassembly. If you also have welding experience (TIG), that's a plus. Knowledge of machine technology and mechanical processing are also merits. Good Swedish skills in speech and writing are a requirement. Some forklift driving is part of the job, so it's good if you have a forklift certificate, but it's not a requirement. Computer skills are required. You are also accustomed to working independently based on given instructions and have the ability to find solutions to practical problems that may arise in daily work.
