Job Description In your role as a toolmaker at Elos Medtech in Skara, you will have a broad and practical role where you work closely with production and contribute to ensuring high quality in both tools and processes. You are an important part of the daily work, where problem-solving, improvement initiatives, and collaboration are central elements. You will work both operatively with manufacturing and maintenance, as well as be involved in developing working methods and supporting the organization in tool-related matters. Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility: • Manufacturing parts for mold tools • Manufacturing fixtures • Manufacturing auxiliary equipment for robots and machines • Ongoing service on tools • Service and maintenance of machines • Actively participate in improvement work • Participate in problem-solving for quality and efficiency deviations • Support the organization in tool-related matters Qualifications We are looking for someone who thrives in a practical and responsible role where you get to influence both working methods and results. You have a natural interest in technology and mechanics, enjoy understanding how things work, and take responsibility for driving your work forward. You may be trained as a toolmaker – but we also see that you could come from another background in manufacturing industry. What is important is that you have good technical understanding, are comfortable working with your hands and meeting high quality standards, and that you contribute to a positive work environment and are open to developing in the role. Requirements: • Training as a toolmaker or equivalent • Experience from manufacturing industry • Good technical understanding and experience with mechanical work • Experience with metal processing in milling and turning • Structured working approach • Meticulous and quality-conscious • Basic computer skills • Swedish in speech and writing • Basic knowledge of English Merits: • Experience with mold tools, preferably in polymer/plastic • CAD/CAM skills What Do We Offer You?
