Job Description As CEO of AB Vänersborgsbostäder, you will have the prestigious responsibility of leading an organization that literally builds and manages the future of Vänersberg. You will lead a stable organization with 70 dedicated employees and oversee the management of our more than 3,500 apartments. By realizing our vision of attractive and sustainable rental housing throughout life, you will become a key player in creating a good life for one in seven residents of Vänersberg. In this role, you also have overall responsibility for Fastighets AB, where through professional leasing of modern commercial spaces, you support the local business community and the municipality's economic growth. By combining a business-oriented approach with a strong service culture, you ensure that we remain a driving force for both residents and businesses in Vänersberg. Areas of Responsibility Your Assignment · Strategic leadership and organization: You have overall responsibility for leading, engaging, and distributing work within the organization. You serve as the natural link between the board and operational activities to create an efficient environment where both staff and operations thrive. · Values-driven development: You embody and drive our core values – security, sustainability, opportunity, and freedom. With inclusive leadership, you build a workplace where diversity and differences are seen as a strength that enriches the company. · Urban development and new construction: As a key player in Vänersberg municipality's development, you lead the company forward with a focus on sustainable growth. You are instrumental in new construction and projects that develop both the housing stock, the city, and the local business community. · Financial management and goal achievement: You are responsible for budgets, financial monitoring, and achieving the company's ambitious goals in a professional manner. · Collaboration and community building: You maintain close and trusting dialogue with the board, Vänersberg municipality (the owners), authorities, and local stakeholders to ensure successful cooperation. · Customer focus and modern management: You ensure that our 3,500 households receive the best possible service and treatment. Qualifications You have: · An academic degree in economics/administration or other experience that the employer considers equivalent. · Substantial experience managing a larger organization/company · Previous experience leading personnel and having budget responsibility Meritorious if you have: · Experience from a politically governed organization · Experience managing managers · Experience from the real estate industry · A local network We are looking for someone who is a confident and inspiring leader with a natural ability to combine business interests with a deep commitment to society. As a person, you are curious and goal-oriented, with a strong inner drive to continuously improve operations and the service we provide our tenants. You possess high social competence and good communication skills, which enable you to express yourself clearly and articulate in both speech and writing. You thrive in a bridge-building role and move comfortably in meetings with everyone from tenants and employees to political decision-makers and authorities. To succeed in this role, you are community-oriented and have a natural inclination for environmental monitoring; you stay informed about industry trends and understand how they affect our local context. Your analytical skills are strong, enabling you to translate complex goals and budgets into concrete results that develop both the company and Vänersberg municipality.
