About the Operation Hemgården is a special residential facility for the elderly in Skinnskattebergs Municipality. Here are the departments Granen and Furan as well as the short-term residence Viljan. In total, there are 24 apartments distributed across the Granen and Furan departments and 10 short-term places at Viljan. At Hemgården, we work in teams with several different professional groups such as care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, administrators, and unit managers. Job Responsibilities Working as a care assistant with us means that you provide support and service based on the resident's individual needs and are responsible for ensuring that the resident receives good care. The main tasks include assisting with personal care such as showering, toilet visits, meals, etc. based on individual needs, performing health and care services, performing service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, etc., and working and documenting in various systems. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has care training and/or experience working in healthcare and social care. It is an asset if you are a trained nursing assistant. Personal Qualities You are flexible and enjoy having varied work tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability; you have an empathetic approach and have a talent for creating and maintaining good relationships. As a person, you are attentive, positive, and proactive. You have the ability to keep the resident in focus and communicate clearly. As a person, you also appreciate cooperation with others. Since we in healthcare and social care have documentation requirements, written procedures and instructions, as well as verbal handover reporting, it is important that you can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both in speech and writing. Working Hours/Duration The positions are two temporary contracts, each expected to last approximately one year. Employment begins in July/August. Before employment, an extract from the criminal record must be provided. Other Information At the interview, you will need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a personal certificate together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must provide evidence that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
