JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking holiday substitutes for LSS services in Färjestaden and Mörbylånga. Within LSS, you work to provide support to people with disabilities so they can live as independently and meaningfully as possible. You assist with personal hygiene, transfers, meals, household tasks, walks, various activities, and social interaction. You may work in group homes, service residences, personal assistance, residential support (according to the Social Services Act), or day activity centers. There is also a short-term service for children and young people. Your work also includes documenting users' development and needs. Working hours vary between day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. On-call shifts and longer shifts that include overnight duty occur in certain group homes and personal assistance positions. You will receive digital training to learn the work, as well as in-person orientation at the workplace. QUALIFICATIONS You must be at least 18 years old, and it is desirable if you have previous work experience in this field. We primarily seek candidates with ongoing or completed education in child and leisure activities, care programs, or equivalent. You may have or have started education in, for example, behavioral science, pedagogy, psychiatry, nursing, or vocational training focused on this field of activity. If you are trained as a nursing assistant, you must provide certification with a protected professional title certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. We believe that with the attitude of wanting to do a really good job, you will go far! You are humble and understand that people are different and have different needs. You are curious and have the desire to meet people in a professional manner, and you respect personal integrity. You are open to learning from others' knowledge and want to share what you know with others. You want to take responsibility for making things as good as possible. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. You need to be comfortable with IT tools as these are used in daily operations. To be eligible for employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the police criminal records register for HVB. You need to be proficient in Swedish in speech and writing to communicate (with colleagues and users) and document in our journal system. As part of our recruitment process for LSS services, you will be asked to complete a language test to assess your proficiency level in Swedish speech and writing.
