JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a facilities maintenance worker, you will perform regular maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment in the municipality's properties, including nursing homes, schools, sports halls, sports facilities, ice rinks, and swimming facilities. You will work on monitoring and maintaining technical systems. You are responsible for outdoor environment maintenance, including grass cutting, gardening, snow removal, and de-icing. You handle fault reports from residents and municipal employees, prioritizing and addressing problems quickly and efficiently. You comply with safety regulations and environmental rules to create a safe and sustainable work environment. Your duties include maintenance of mechanical equipment in ice rinks, sports facilities, and swimming facilities. Lifeguard duties and evening and weekend work occur. QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with ice machines, tractors, and equipment for green space maintenance is a merit. As a person, you are service-oriented, responsible, and self-directed, as solo work occurs. We work with various operations, which means collaboration skills and flexibility are important qualities. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You must be able to pass a swimming/lifesaving test, as the work also includes lifeguard duties. We prefer that you have at least 3 years of experience in property maintenance or similar tasks. You must have good technical understanding and practical problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take own initiatives, as well as plan and prioritize tasks efficiently. You have good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude, with professional treatment of both residents and colleagues. Driver's License: B-class driver's license is required. Additional certifications/qualifications are a merit. Ability to communicate in Swedish in writing and speech. A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register is a statutory requirement. Employment Type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer.
