Region Norrbotten works to make art and culture accessible to both residents and visitors in the region. The Cultural Unit is part of the Regional Development Department and is responsible for Region Norrbotten's collective efforts in the cultural field, according to the cultural collaboration model. The activities are based on the regional cultural plan and Region Norrbotten's development strategy. The Cultural Unit consists of an office and the activities Norrbotten Museum, Norrbotten Music, Regional Library Norrbotten, cultural promoters and resource centers. In total, approximately 90 people work within the unit. We are now looking for you who wants to contribute to developing and promoting dance in Norrbotten! What we are looking for We are looking for you who has higher education or university education in a relevant field, for example dance, culture or cultural administration, or equivalent work experience. You have experience initiating, leading and following up on projects as well as good knowledge in administration, budget work and financial monitoring. You also have good digital skills. Furthermore, you have: Experience working in the dance and/or cultural sector, or related fields Documented experience in project management Experience building and developing collaboration with various stakeholders, for example in the public sector, civil society organizations or culture Experience in budget work Meritorious qualifications: Education in project management and/or economics Knowledge of the dance field and its conditions Experience building and developing networks and collaborations Good knowledge of the dance field in Norrbotten Experience working in a regional or public organization Experience planning and implementing events or activities Established networks within the cultural field in Norrbotten Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. What you will work with As a regional Dance Consultant, you work both strategically and operatively to develop and strengthen the dance field in Norrbotten. You initiate and drive projects, build networks and collaborate with, among others, municipalities, civil society organizations, educational activities and professional dance actors. The assignment has a special focus on creating good conditions for dance professionals in the region as well as promoting children and young people's opportunities to meet and practice dance. In the assignment, you work both independently and in close collaboration with others, which requires that you are comfortable with both teamwork and personal responsibility. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues in cultural advancement activities where this role is part of moving the unit forward. The assignment also includes environmental monitoring and communicating the development and conditions of dance in Norrbotten in various contexts. In addition to operational work, the role includes administrative tasks such as reporting, selection processes, preparation of decision-making materials and budget work. You also participate practically in planning and implementing events, competence development initiatives and other activities.
