Development Engineer/PoC for Fuze Design

Your Role Your formal role will be PoC (Point of Contact), meaning you will be the section's contact person for the various types of issues that come in to the section. This can include questions from production or procurement regarding quality, requirements, materials, failure investigations, etc. These issues are handled, registered, and distributed among the section's staff, and your task is to distribute and follow up. You will work closely with another PoC as well as the section manager. Beyond the PoC role, you will also handle the same types of issues as the rest of the section, which involves work with design, development, and maintenance of our 84 mm grenades. You will follow products through the entire chain, from idea to finished product, where product care becomes part of your responsibilities. You will, among other things, conduct verification and qualification tests in both laboratory and field environments, which means your work will be varied. Documentation, requirements writing, and requirements fulfillment are also important tasks you will work with. The work is characterized by taking responsibility for our commitments, which also gives the freedom to plan your own work. Your own interests can also guide the direction of the role. Long-term, we will build your expertise regarding fuzes (safety and initiation systems), as we cannot expect prior knowledge in this area. The fuze is the part of our products that ensures initiation of action if all arming conditions are met. Thus, a very important component for our products' safety and reliability. The work requires precision and responsibility for both safety during work and delivery of undertaken tasks. We believe you are a graduate engineer or engineering technician with a focus on mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or have an education/experience that is deemed relevant. You have experience with design in some 3D tool. Experience with design and/or systems engineering work, as well as work in customer service or sales, is a plus. You have good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. The position requires you to go through and be approved according to applicable security regulations at any given time.
