As a systems security engineer, you'll be part of an experienced and dedicated team working with land, naval, and ammunition systems, where integrity, quality, and responsibility are paramount. You'll work closely with colleagues, customers, and FMV, and every day contribute to ensuring that the systems being developed are safe, robust, and ready for real-world conditions. Step 1 - Training: Experis Academy's training in collaboration with BAE Systems Experis Academy and BAE Systems offer you a job that begins with intensive training in systems security. This is followed by consulting assignments and a specialization period in the field at BAE Systems in Karlskoga. Experis Academy is part of the consulting firm Experis. Our training programs have grown throughout Europe over the years. We place great emphasis on coaching to help our employees complement their technical skills with other soft competencies. Employment begins with intensive training conducted by Experis Academy. After completing the training, all participating employees will start work as consultants at BAE Systems, which we call the specialization period below. Step 2 - Specialization Period: Role as Systems Security Engineer As a systems security engineer at BAE Systems, you play a critical role in ensuring that advanced defense and security systems are safe, reliable, and sustainable throughout their lifecycle. You'll work with complex systems in the land, naval, and ammunition fields, where safety, quality, and long-term sustainability are absolutely crucial to prevent risks to users, systems, and the environment. In this role, you're responsible for identifying, analyzing, and managing risks related to everything from use and operation to maintenance, repair, and decommissioning. You'll work systematically with requirements definition, risk analyses, and verification in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and the Swedish Armed Forces' regulations. Systems security functions as an independent and oversight function, meaning you have the mandate to stand up for safety and ensure that the right decisions are made. You'll work closely with project teams, systems engineers, and designers across multiple disciplines and maintain ongoing dialogue with Swedish customers such as the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV. The role combines technical breadth with responsibility, communication, and analysis, and suits you if you want to work long-term on projects where your contribution makes a real difference. We also believe you bring one or more of the following: Higher education, preferably in engineering, mechanics, electronics, or software. Previous experience working as an engineer or in system-related technical roles. Experience or exposure to systems, systems security, or similar fields. Familiarity with documentation, analyses, and structured working methods. Experience from production and/or assembly. Interest in systems architecture, design, and underlying technical solutions. Practical Information: Training start: November 2026. Training and specialization location: Karlskoga. Work hours: Full-time.
