About the Department The Procurement Department at Region Dalarna is seeking a Contract Controller. The Procurement Department is centrally located within the region's finance unit and serves as the region's expert support for procurement matters. We have offices in central Falun and are a workplace characterized by a good atmosphere and high job satisfaction where we develop in our professional roles. In the fall of 2025, Region Dalarna implemented the healthcare information system Cosmic. We are now seeking a contract controller who actively works with the agreement at both an operational and strategic level. The contract structure differs from previous systems and places high demands on structured monitoring, business acumen, and vendor management. To ensure that Region Dalarna obtains full value from the agreement and that deliveries occur as agreed, we are now seeking a contract controller with particular focus on the healthcare information system. The position is located within the procurement department and involves close collaboration with operations, legal, finance, IT, and external parties. Region Dalarna participates in a regional collaboration with eight other regions around Cosmic, SUSSA Collaboration, which means part of contract management also involves representing the region jointly on contract matters within SUSSA. Responsibilities As a contract controller, you are responsible for commercial and contractual monitoring of the healthcare information agreement. The role includes, among other things: Monitor contract terms, service levels, and incentives Ensure financial control and correct billing Identify, analyze, and manage contract deviations Support operations, such as healthcare support functions and management, as well as system administration, in contract and interpretation matters Participate in and contribute to business dialogues and negotiations with the vendor Coordinate Region Dalarna's work with SUSSA Collaboration on contract matters Contribute to the development of methods, structures, and tools for contract monitoring Work proactively with risk management and realization of the contract's strategic value over time Qualifications We are looking for someone with: Relevant academic education in, for example, economics, law, procurement, or equivalent experience Experience with contract monitoring, contract management, or vendor management Good business acumen and experience with complex agreements Ability to analyze agreements from both financial and operational perspectives Excellent communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written It is meritorious if you have: Experience with major IT or service agreements Experience from public sector operations Familiarity with collaboration models or multi-party agreements Experience working closely with legal and/or procurement functions Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we see that you are structured, analytical, and persistent. You are confident in dialogues with vendors and can hold your ground in business discussions.
